Relocating Dreams

I just recently came back from Miami, Florida and I was not ready to be back.

Once upon a time I had said that I would relocate, if necessary, to follow my dream job and as I have gotten older my wants have changed. Being close to my family became more important to me; so I really have not thought of relocating anymore until I went to Miami...

Miami is a place that is warm and wonderful. It is constantly busy with people doing this and that at all hours. I loved that about Miami.
I am a city girl by nature and I love the rantings of busy sidewalks and passerbys, fast cars and busy beaches.
The sun makes my skin glow and my endorphins increase by a million. I feel great!

Yes, I could see myself moving to a place like Miami.
But
Life sinks in. Is it really a place I would want to move? So far from my family and friends. Is it a place where I would want to settle down and raise a family? Not so sure.

Relocating is not such a simple feet to undertake..there is planning involved (lots and lots). Because before you make such a life-altering decision you need to weigh all the pros and cons.
It is much like making any huge decision in life: marriage, divorce, kids, buying a house or car. The same thought should be put into it. Also, you have to weigh the outcome on everyone around you, not just yourself. Relocating is an easy word to say but not very impulse friendly.
Being impulsive is easy to do, but not always the wisest thing. Never be impulsive on huge decisions..is what I always tell myself because even if I don't like the outcome I will be stuck with it for quite sometime.

At the end of the day, I realized that my family is number one for me. So Miami can just be my great getaway spot....for now anyway :)

Everyone needs a change sometimes

Change can be very scary.

For instance, I just started a new job and it can overwhelm you when you have your phone ringing off the hook and only a thousand extensions that could be asked for...and you don't know any of them.

But

who cares if you accidentally transfer someone to the wrong department or send the same marketing email twice to the same people. Just tell them it is your second day and all is forgiven.

There is nothing wrong with being afraid of change or get sad when you leave one thing for another because that is perfectly normal. It is only when you don't make a change simply because you are scared.

Fear can never hold you back unless you allow it to. So, it should be comforting to know that you are the one ultimately in control.

If you never change though due to this fear then you will be missing out on a life full of fun and excitement because even though it is scary to meet new people, it can open new doors for you that you never could have imagined before.

And

plus if you haven't noticed, LIFE IS SCARY! So why not add some adventure to what already is true?
